‘David’ Satterfield

COMER – George “David” Satterfield, 56, died Thursday, May 28, 2009.

A native of Wilkes County, he was the son of the late Hubert and Lois Lloyd Satterfield. He had lived in this area all of his life and was of the Baptist denomination. Mr. Satterfield was preceded in death by a brother, Loyd Satterfield.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Satterfield; daughters, Joy Satterfield Wilkins, Jill Satterfield and Jessica Satterfield; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Billy Bittle; grandchildren, Jaime Leigh Wilkins and Tyler David Wilkins.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 31, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Gordon Rhoden officiating. Burial was in Comer Cemetery.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
