Deborah Haley Escoe, 58, of Athens, died Monday, June 16, 2008, at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
She was born in Franklin County on November 14, 1949, the daughter of Catherine James Haley of Royston and the late Robert Lee Haley. She was a manager in the dry cleaning business and was Holiness. Mrs. Escoe was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Haley; and sisters, Paulette Thornton and Frances Cowart.
Survivors in addition to her mother, include sons, Jayson Escoe, Hull, and Wesley Escoe, Athens; a daughter, Paige Cleveland, Tampa, Fla.; brothers, Ronnie Haley, Royston, and James Haley, Gainesville; sisters, Karren Haley, Athens, and Elaine Thornton, Elberton; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 20, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Revs. Dennis Kesler and David Carey officiating. Burial was in the New Hope Worship Center Cemetery.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
