VIENNA – Mildred L. Bullock, 79, formerly of Colbert, died Saturday, May 23, 2009.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Burgess George Hunt and Bethel Mae O’Kelley. She was a member of Moon’s Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Bullock; a son, Ronald Bullock; and a sister, Willie Mae Hardman.
Survivors include daughters, Diane (Lee) Hunter, Bogart, Judy (Jimmy) Goodman, Vienna, Janice (Joe) Merk, Danielsville, Debbie (Ronnie) Mathis, Winder; sons, Larry (Carol) Bullock, Gainesville, Roger (Bonnie) Bullock, Royston, and James (Debbie) Bullock, Colbert; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, George Thomas (Oneita) Hunt, Danielsville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 26, at Moon’s Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Fuller and Ray Jenkins officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Johnathon Goodman, Ryan Bullock, Nathan Bullock, Danny Lord, Freddie Hunt, and Weldon Hardman.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Hospice Service, Cordele.
Bridges Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
