COLUMBUS – Clark Quillan “Quill” Bryant, 54, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus.
Born December 10, 1954 in Tate, he was the son of John Clark Bryant and the late Pauline Shipman Bryant. He had been employed by Transco Transmissions for over 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Robin “Rickie” Hall, Waverly Hall; daughter, Brandy Bryant, Athens; son, Gage Bryant, Waverly Hall; two stepsons, Matthew Hall and Cody Hall, both of Columbus; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Jonell Bryant, Colbert; three sisters, Barbara McCurley and her husband, Colbert, Diane Price, Colbert, and Annette Shuler and her husband Greg, Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Brandon Bryant, Kinsley Bryant and Ashton Bryant; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 20, in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with the Revs. Ralph Price and Bill Taylor officiating. Burial will be Thursday, May 21, at 2 p.m., at Danielsville City Cemetery.
Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, is in charge of arrangements.
