STATHAM - Hazel R. Jackson, 87, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009.

Born in Barrow County on April 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Betty Jackson. She was a member of Barbers Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Willie Fred and Mamie Jackson, Statham; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, James and Cula Jackson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, at 1 p.m., from Barbers Creek Baptist Church in Statham, with the Rev. Jerry David officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Eberhart & Son Mortuary, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
