Mona Ree Lewis, 72, of Hoschton, died Saturday, May 10, 2008.
Born in Hammond, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Herbert H. and Monda Siegel Herbst. She was a retired communication analyst with BellSouth, attended Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville, and Abundant Life Lutheran Church in Braselton. Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Ludvigson and second husband, Robert Lewis; brothers, Herbert Herbst Jr., Thomas Herbst, Richard Herbst, John Herbst; and foster-brother, David Herbeck.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, David Ludvigson, Lawrenceville, Douglas and Deedra Ludvigson, Jonesboro; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Steve Taylor, Hoschton; grandchildren, D.J. Ludvigson, Dustin Ludvigson, Spencer Taylor, Abigail Woodall, and Madalyn Taylor; sister and brother-in-law, Midge and Edward Anderson, Cherokee Village, Ark.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas Herbst, Newport Beach, Calif., James and Beverly Herbst, Hardy, Ark., Daniel and Kim Herbst, Noblesville, Ind., George and Dorothy Herbst, Hammond, Ind.; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ludvigson, Cedar Lake, Ind., and Ruthann Herbst, San Diego, Calif.
Memorial services will be held Friday, May 16, at 1 p.m., at the Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville, with the Revs. Bob Mitchell and Devin Strong officiating.
