DANIELSVILLE—Keith McElroy, 76, died Saturday, May 16, 2009.

A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Grover H. and Tellie Mae Rice McElroy. He was retired from the Air Force after 20 years and the United Postal Service after 18 1/2 years. He was a member, deacon and Sunday School teacher at Moon’s Grove Baptist Church.

The funeral service was Tuesday, May 18, at Moon’s Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Tony Lee and Tom Dial officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Survivors include wife, Sara Phillips McElroy; son, Darren Keith (Autumn) McElroy; daughter, Alesia Dale McElroy; brothers, Lee Ray McElroy and Grover McElroy; and grandchild, India McElroy.

Pallbearers were nephews and honorary pallbearers were the Adult 4 Sunday School Class and the Super Seniors.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
