WINDER – Cansada Maddox Johnson, 91, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late J. Wash and Addie Zou Boss Maddox and had resided in Barrow County for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethabra Baptist Church. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Johnson; and sons, Winfred Johnson, Donnie Johnson and Jack Johnson.
Survivors include daughters, Jean Wilbanks and Pat House; sons, Larrell Johnson, Ray Johnson and Mitch Johnson, all of Winder; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Addie Myron Puckett, Auburn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Webster officiating. Burial will be in Bethabra Baptist Church cemetery.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
