MACON – Elaine Candis Wilburn Knott, 48, died Saturday, May 2, 2009.
Born on August 31, 1960, in Warner Robbins, she was the daughter of the late Roy C. Wilburn Sr. and Billie Ruth Parks Wilburn. Her favorite pastimes were bowling, shopping, cooking for family and friends, and arts and crafts, loved ones stated.
Survivors include brothers, Roy Wilburn Jr. and Charlie Wilborn, both of Warner Robins; sister, Gail Sloan, Winder; niece, Candis Wilburn, Macon; stepchildren, Eddie and Tabatha Knott; grandson, Caleb Knott; aunts and uncles, Abe and Elsie Rivers, Christine Parks; cousins and other family members, Cindy and Joe Bohannan, Mason and D.J. Barker, Skip and Vicki Pate, Cindy and Dana Martin; and numerous other family members and close friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Michael Blizzard officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
