CLAYTON – Grace St. John Williams, 97, formerly of Talmo, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009.
She was born on November 5, 1911, in Rockdale County, and was a homemaker and member of the Talmo Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Webb Williams; and a daughter, Betty Kinney.
Survivors include a son, Robert H. Williams Sr., Jesup; grandchildren, Bobby Williams, Suzanne Simpson, Karen Rice and Amy Palmer; and great-grandchildren, Leann Wade and Jon-Jay Wade.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Spence officiating. Burial will be in the Talmo Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m.
