ATHENS – Sara Pegram, 88, died Sunday, May 3, 2009.
Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late James E. and Rilla Mae Day Casper and was a homemaker. Mrs. Pegram was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Pegram.
Survivors include a son, Joseph J. Pegram Jr., Gainesville, Fla.; daughter, Sally Granados Majetich, Athens; grandchildren, Erin J. Granados, Athens, Joseph J. Pegram III, Avrora, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Justin L. Granados and Derin J. Granados.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6, at 4 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Jim Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
