AUBURN – Mary Moore Lovin, 96, died Saturday, May 2, 2009.
She was the daughter of the late Emory Jackson and Mattie Henderson Moore, and was a member of Carl Baptist Church for 71 years. She was a faithful employee and retiree from Landress and Smith Textile Company. Mrs. Lovin was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Otis Lovin; sister, Elizabeth Moore Lovin; and brothers, Dewey Gartrelle Moore, Sumner Jewel Moore and tom Watson Moore.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 5, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with the Revs. Tom Ham and Billy Ray Banks officiating. Burial will be in Carl Baptist Church cemetery.
