‘Robin’ Martin

BOGART – Robert “Robin” Bryant Martin Jr., 53, died Saturday, April 25, 2009.

Born in Clarke County on April 13, 1956, he was the son of Jacqueline Martin of Watkinsville, and Robert Bryant Martin Sr., and stepson of Helen Martin, Athens. He was a 1975 graduate of Cedar Shoals High School and a graduate of Gainesville College. He was employed for many years as Human Resources Manager with Athens Packaging/Keebler and was a supervisor at Chico’s.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include his wife of 20 years, Missy; children, Ashley, Brittany and Courtney; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Mike Epps, Watkinsville; stepbrothers, Dr. David Wortham and Scott Wortham, both of Anderson, S.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 28, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park.
