BRASELTON – Woody Beatrice Gaddis Holder, 89, died Saturday, April 25, 2009.
Born in Gwinnett County, she was the daughter of the late Estee Gaddis Sr. and Alice Barrett Gaddis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Holder; a son, Grady Ben Holder; siblings, Katie Evans, Annie Mae Perdue, Walter Gaddis, Millard Gaddis and Edgar Gaddis.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Linda Holder, Hoschton; grandchildren, Scott Holder, Jefferson, Michelle Holder Carter and husband, Jack, Hoschton; great-grandchildren, Tegan Carter, Gainesville, Skylar Carter, Hoschton, Drew and Devan Holder, Pendergrass; sister-in-law, Margie Gaddis, Braselton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 27, in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Louis Gaddis officiating.
Burial was in the Braselton Church of God Cemetery. Pallbearers were Scott Holder, Drew Holder, Devan Holder, John Holder, Jack Holder and Skylar Holder.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
