Theodelinde Wood

COMMERCE – Theodelinde Emma Weiss Wood, 84, died Friday, April 24, 2009, at her residence.

Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late George and Elisa Pfaff Weiss. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her husband, Lester L. Wood.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Strickland, Commerce; and grandchildren, Donald Strickland, Candace Cook and Stacie Strickland.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 27, in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Burial was in Jackson Memorial Gardens.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
