Henry Nathaniel Wilson Jr., 73, of Nicholson, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Henry Nathaniel Wilson Sr. and Ruzell Garner Smallwood. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army, and was a retired truck mechanic. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Austin Brown Jr.; and a brother, Frank Smallwood.
Survivors include his wife, Jane McEver Wilson, Nicholson; daughters, MaryAnn Blevins, Ila, Carolyn Brown, Nicholson, and Sherri Smith, Gainesville; brother, Howard Smallwood, Atlanta; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 25, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Nicholson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, June 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
