Ruby Dalton

COMER – Ruby Jewell Coile Dalton, 94, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at the Brown Memorial Convalescent Center in Royston.

Born in Madison County on April 19, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Joe Hoyt and Frances Novie Scarborough Coile. She was a homemaker, a member of the Bethel M Baptist Church, and also attended David’s Home Holiness Church. Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John Dalton; and a brother, Paul Joe Coile.

Survivors include a nephew and wife, Roger and Sally Coile, Comer; and a sister, Vonnie Sue Lunsford, Royston.

Graveside services were held Thursday, April 23, at the Bethel Baptist Church cemetery in Danielsville, with the Rev. Clay Huff officiating.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
