STATHAM - Elizabeth Witcher, 91, died Monday April, 20, 2009.
Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late King Esby and Texie Olevie Elder McGee. She was a member of the Statham First Baptist Church. Mrs. Witcher was preceded in death by her husband, Homer “Buck” Sterling Witcher.
Survivors include a nephew, Dwight Ward; several grandnieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 23, at 2 p.m., from Smith Memory Chapel, with the Rev. Gordon Thornton officiating.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
