GILLSVILLE – William Lamar Kirby, 29, died Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Born on September 2, 1979, in Hall County, he was the son of Mike Risher and stepmother, Tracy Mae Risher, of Gillsville, and mother, the late Elizabeth Ann Cotton Risher.
Survivors in addition to his father and stepmother include sons, Tayler Lamar Kirby, Pennsylvania, Will Kirby Jr., Florida; daughter, Emma Kirby, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Ben Farmer, Gainesville; brother, Aaron Michael Harvey, Gainesville; grandmother, Hazel Bruner, Gainesville; grandparents, Carolyn and Stanley Warner, Gainesville; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 21, at 7 p.m., at Hillside Memorial Gardens with the Revs. Jeff Yeary and Jack Bosworth officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 21, at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m.
