COMMERCE – Gladys Crocker Marlowe, 86, died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Born in Habersham County, she was the daughter of the last Joseph Dillard and Anner Webb Crocker. She was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle in Commerce, and was preceded in death by her husband, Stoy Marlowe.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Gene Williams and Beverly and Lane Allen, all of Commerce; sister, Alice Martin, Commerce; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, April 19, from the Redeemed Baptist Church with the Revs. Phil Parks and Bobby Patman officiating. Burial was in the Grey Hill Cemetery.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
