STATHAM - Hubert Haynie, 84, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
A lifelong resident of Barrow County, he was the son of the late Jesse and Mary Meadows Haynie. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Haynie; sister, Omie Duncan Wood; and brother, George Haynie.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Everett Haynie; brother, Douglas Haynie both of Statham; and several nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 17, at 2 p.m., from the Nazareth United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Ned Davis officiating.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
