CLEVELAND – Eva Bell Moore, 83, formerly of Cornelia, died Thursday, April 16, 2009, at a private care facility, following an extended illness.
Born on July 18, 1925, in Middleburg, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Alec and Janie Kendricks Moore. She was a homemaker and a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Shedd; and brothers, Hershall, Charlie, Mack and J.T. Moore.
Survivors include daughters, Nancy Lovell and Carolyn Wiley, both of Clarkesville, Evelyn Ralston, Winder; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, at 1 p.m., from the Whitfield Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Beasley officiating. Burial will be in the Wiley Cemetery in Wiley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, April 17, from 6 to 8 p.m.
