NEW HOLLAND – Jeanene Gail Taylor, 66, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at her residence, following an extended illness.
Born on November 9, 1942, in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Lam Ora and Gladys Kytle Davis. She retired from Wrigley with 27 years of service and was a member of the Pleasant Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James H. Taylor, New Holland; daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and Michael Shay, Gillsville, and Robin Taylor and Danny Williams, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Hartwell and Nicole Taylor, Cleveland; grandchildren, Jacob Taylor, Ashton Williams, Makayla Williams, Alyssa Morelli, Nick Morelli and Daniella Morelli; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Lawrence Chandler, Gainesville; niece and husband, Christa and Buddy McCue, Stone Mountain; nephew, Darren Chandler, Gainesville; and a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 17, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Revs. Donald Tritt, Steve Dyer, Brother Hartwell Taylor, and James Ransom officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 15, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, April 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, is in charge of arrangements.
