ATHENS – Myrtis G. Burger, 96, died Friday, April 10, 2009.
A native of Cope, S.C., she was a member of the Free Chapel Worship Center in Gainesville. Mrs. Burger was preceded in death by her husband, Levi M. Burger.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Coley, Athens; son, David Morris Burger, Bogart; stepdaughter, Betty B. Dixon, Savannah; grandchildren, Russell Lee Coley, Richard M. Coley, Ginger Lynn Moon, Mary Beth Burger, Susan Riley, Tammy Green, Krissy Burger and Angelia Burger; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held Monday, April 13, at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Mark Mobley officiating.
Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
