WINDER – Joshua Nathaniel Johnson, 8 week old son of Elisa and David Johnson of Winder, died Monday, April 6, 2009.
He was born in Gwinnett County.
Survivors in addition to his parents include maternal grandparent, Joyce Preston, Winder; paternal grandparents, Jimmy Johnson, Buford, and Sherry Parr, Winder; aunts, Candice McCurley, Lawrenceville, Jennifer Johnson, Buford; uncles, William McCurley, Winder, Jimmy Parr, Buford.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 11, at 10 a.m., at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Rudy Camp officiating.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.

There is not a day that I do not think about Little Joshua and I miss him so much. Never again will I get to hold him and my arms and rock. I will never get to play with him anymore. I will not be able to talk to him and have his undivided attention. Granny

loosing a child is the hardest thing anyone could ever endore, my mother once told me when a child orr infant dies that means thry were to pressious for this life, that god took them home for a bigger and better purpose, i hope thiiis brings you some comfort, your baby was to good for this earth, a very special soul
