WINDER - Edna Bryant McCollum, 70, died Friday, April 3, 2009.
Born in Cobb County, she was the daughter of the late Amos Edward and Lilla Passemore Bryant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie William McCollum.
Survivors include sons, Ernie McCollum, Tennessee, and Jeffery L. McCollum, Auburn; daughter, Jarhonda Ledford, Carrolton; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Lanier Bryant, Kennesaw, Ralph Bryant, Atlanta, and Cecil Bryant, Carrollton; sister, Dorothy Deavers, Kennesaw; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Sunday, April 5, at Dacula Church of God, with the Rev. Jerry Hewatt officiating. The body was to be cremated.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
