Timothy Wilson

Timothy Michael Wilson Jr., 23, of Comer, died Friday, June 13, 2008.

Born in Athens, he was the son of Mike and Jennifer Wilson. He was a 2003 graduate of Oglethorpe County High School and was employed by Wilson and Sons. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Eugene Brown.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include a sister, Megan Nicole Wilson, Crawford; brother, Justin Michael Wilson, Crawford; maternal grandparents, Tommy and Clara Wilson, Colbert; paternal grandmother, Nancy Bryant, Royston; aunts and uncles, Melissa and Joe Armistead, Kristyl Brown, Anna Epps; and several cousins.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 18, at in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home with the Revs. Chuck Tatum and Jim Peterson officiating. Burial was in Welcome Avenue Congregational Holiness Church cemetery. Pallbearers were Adam Nation, Holly Bales, Devin Johnson, Billy Rogers, Roy Gene Young, Allen Welch, Brian Corey and Willie Turner Jr.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
