HULL – Brenda Joyce Barber, 61, died Friday, April 3, 2009.

She was the daughter of the late Water Colley Jr. and Mary Bowles Colley.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Barber; daughter, Lisa Hewell, Hull; son, Shane Barber, Athens; grandchildren, Emilie Bedgood, Brian Savage, Courtney Barber and Hunter Barber.

Funeral services were held Sunday, April 5, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
