PUNTA GONDA, FLA. – Donald Masters Sr., 64, formerly of Hoschton, died Monday, March 30, 2009.
Born in Spartanburg, S.C., he was the son of the late Melvin W. and Ruby Davis Masters. He was a contractor for home construction and remodeling and was a veteran, having served in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Stewart Masters, Punta Gorda, Fla.; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Masters Jr. and Tracy Masters, Loganville, Christopher and Shauna Masters, Hahira; daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Philip Sick, Jefferson, Wendy and Michael Yaeger, Mobile, Ala.; nine grandchildren; brothers, Woodrow Masters, Greenville, S.C., and Robert Masters, Hoschton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, at 2 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Tom Miles officiating. The body will be cremated following the service.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
