Sandra Borden

RUSSELLVILLE, ALA. – Sandra Kay Borden, 55, died Thursday, March 26, 2009, at her residence.

She was the daughter of Jodell Brown of Winnebago, Ill. and the late Darrell Brown. She was a native of Rockford, Ill., but had resided in Franklin County, Ala., for the past 12 years. She attended Edgar’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy A. Borden, Russellville, Ala.; children, Jay A. Borden, Jefferson, who is an agriculture teacher at Jackson County Comprehensive High School, Beckie D. McGee, Killen, Ala.; sister, Brenda Seyler, Rockford, Ill.; brothers, Alan Brown, Rockford, Ill., Brian Brown, Davis, Ill.; grandchildren, Gabrielle Borden, Spencer Borden, Sophie Borden, Morgan McGee and Landon McGee; plus several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home with Kenneth Reed officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, Ala., is in charge of arrangements.
