BRASELTON - John S. Verner, 55, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
He was the son of the late Howard and Annette Verner and worked in sales for an office supply company. He served in the Naval Air Reserve.
Survivors include brothers and sister-in-law, William G. and Blanca Verner, Johns Creek, and David H. Verner, Gainesville; aunts, Millie M. Moore, Johns Creek, and Selma M. Cheeley, Buford; friends, Gary Avery and David Duck, both of Braselton, Connie Boswell, Conyers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m., at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel. Burial will be at Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, March 29, from 12 to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Warsaw United Methodist Church of Autry Mill, c/o Jodie Ritch, 4605 Wickford Circle, Roswell, GA 30075.
Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Norcross, is in charge of arrangements.
