BUFORD – Charles W. Flint, 75, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, following a brief illness.
Born in Summers County, W. Va., he had lived in metro Atlanta for the past 30 years and was retired from North American Security, where he was a security officer. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army in Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Flint, Buford; children and spouses, Marjorie Hayes, Buford, and June and Greg Williamson and Suzie and David Howe, all of Winder; grandchildren, Shawn Hayes, Mark Hayes, Nicole Hayes, Terese Williamson, Courtney Howe; sister, Dianna Schewsbury, W. Va.; brother, Camden Flint, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, at 2 p.m., at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Scott Tanner officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, March 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
