COMMERCE – Mary Elizabeth Wilson Porter, 88, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at BJC Hospital in Commerce.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Ora King Wilson. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Porter.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Connie Porter, Commerce; daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Tommy Schaline, Middlesex, N.J.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, at 11 a.m., in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Payne officiating. Burial will be in the Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 26, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
