I became good friends with Dion while I was in the Navy in Mayport, FL. and had always hoped I'd be able to someday, get in touch with him again and I'm so saddened to come across his obit. here. We had alot of fun together driving around in that old Cadillac of his and even took a trip in it to South Carolina to see his son when he was just a little guy and he was even nice enough one time to invite me to Thanksgiving dinner with him and the girl he was with at the time, because I wasn't able to make it home to Colorado at the time. Me and Dion had a lot of fun together and I always hoped I'd see him again. I always knew Dion had his inner demons but the goodness in him was so much easier to see. I'll never forget him and the fun times we shared. He will be greatly missed by more people than you know, especially me!!! Jeff Blevins (jjeffbl@aim.com)
