STATHAM – Betty Wheeler, 77, died Monday, March 16, 2009.
Born in Willow Grove, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles Luther and May S. Myers. She was a homemaker and loved bingo and bowling, loved ones stated.
Survivors include her husband, Dave Wheeler, Statham; son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Carol Givens; daughter, Sandy Goff; stepdaughter, Pat Brewer; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brothers, Charlie and James Myers.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 18, at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Hal Tapp officiating. Burial was in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church cemetery.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
