WINDER - Robert Joseph Damiano, 69, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Charles and Antoinette Milone Damiano. A member of St. Matthews Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus at St. Matthews, he was also a member of the Hog Association (the Harley Owners Group), and was retired from AT & T.
Survivors include sons, Joe Damiano and Steve Braswell, both of Winder, Mike Damiano, Lanett, Ala.; daughters, Toni Braswell, Winder and Diana Boss, Lilburn; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held Monday, March 23, at 10:30 a.m., from St. Matthews Catholic Church with Father Jamie Barona officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, March 22, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
