GAINESVILLE – Lottie D. Anglin Roberts, 91, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, following a sudden illness.
Born on February 25, 1918, in Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Waldo and Lillian Bennett Anglin. She was retired from New Holland Textile Mill and was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church for over 70 years. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Roberts; and a daughter, Gloria Durham.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Joella and Harold Davis, Lula, Janice and Ray Miller, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Sandra Roberts, Gainesville; grandchildren, Darryl Davis, Danny Miller, Terry Roberts, Randy Miller, Tabitha Truelove, Stacy Roberts, Cindy Boothby and Amey Sims; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Justine Brown, Buford.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Revs. Ralph Smith and Donald Tritt officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 20, from 7 to 9 p.m.
