JEFFERSON – Martha Jean Dispain, 72, formerly of Buford, died Sunday, March 15, 2009.
She was born on May 4, 1936, in Gwinnett County, the daughter of the late Robert and Sadie Dispain. She was a retired certified nursing assistant for Life Care of Gwinnett in Lilburn and was a member of Old Suwanee Baptist Church in Buford. Mrs. Dispain was preceded in death by her husband, James Wiley Westbrooks; daughter, Brenda Mitchell; brothers, Charles Dispain, Junior Dispain and Winfred Dispain; sisters, Retha Kinney and Linda Tucker.
Survivors include a son, James Westbrooks, Flowery Branch; grandson, Waylon Robert Westbrooks, Jefferson; granddaughter, Tammy Martin, Forsyth; sister, Virdell Seabolt, Ila; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, at 3:30 p.m., in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Revs. Benny Parker and Lamar Day officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, March 19, from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
