Donald Sanford Purcell, 70, of Commerce, died Monday, June 16, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Banks County, he was the son of the late Albert and Ruby Ensley Purcell.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Seagraves Purcell, Commerce; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jon Embrick, Commerce; grandchildren, Madison and Matthew Embrick.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 18, at 3 p.m., in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Beckham officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 17, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
