HULL – Betty Jean Worley Lord Crowe, 73, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Banks County on September 3, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Will and Nettie Lord Worley. She was a seamstress, homemaker, and also had worked with Athens Cultured Marble. She was a member of the Anchor Church in Ila. Mrs. Crowe was preceded in death by her first husband, Grady “Buck” Lord; second husband, William Price Crowe; son, Johnny Lord; and brother, Bobby Worley.
Survivors include daughters, Carol Jordan, Hull, Susan Roberts, Canon, and Barbara Bryant, Danielsville; brother, Billy Worley, Royston; sisters, Jessie Roach and Mary Peeples, both of Royston; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 12, in the chapel of Pruitt Funeral Home with the Revs. Wendell Hanley and Wes Bond officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Royston.
Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
