ATHENS - Liz Fagan, 82, died Sunday, March 1, 2009.
Born in Barrow County, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Moena Edwards Brown. Mrs. Fagan was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Fagan.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Brenda J. Dunbar, Watkinsville, Clydette and Tom Frederick, Colbert; grandchildren, Cristy Dickens, Jennifer Hayes, Rebecca Croxton and Laura Gregory; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 5, at 1 p.m., at Smith Memory Chapel. The body will be cremated after the service. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Colbert Veterinary Rescue Services, 41 County Road 229, Colbert, GA 30628.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
