GAINESVILLE- Foster Odell Seabolt, 84, died Monday, March 2, 2009.
A native of Jackson County, he had lived most of his life in Hall County. He was born on September 28, 1924, the son of the late Clarence and Josephine G. Seabolt. He retired from Jackson Electric Membership Corporation with 38 years of service. He was a volunteer at The Oaks at Limestone and was Baptist. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Seabolt was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Doster Seabolt.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Doris Seabolt, Murrayville; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Todd Sears, Buford; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Tina and John Barger, Murrayville; great-grandson, Jacob Barger, Murrayville.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 4, in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Burial was in the Jackson Memorial Gardens in Commerce.
Little & Davenport Funeral Home, Gainesville, was in charge of arrangements.
