COLBERT – Patricia Marie Morris, 77, died Sunday, March 1, 2009.
A lifelong resident of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Annie Eva Sharp and James Redden Morris. She was a member of the Colbert United Methodist Church. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by sisters and brother-in-law, Katie and Bill Toney, Lucille Morris; brothers, C.B. Morris and Johnny Morris; sister-in-law, Agnes Morris; and a brother-in-law, Hoyt Logan.
Survivors include sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Logan, Irene and Ted Osborne; brothers and sister-in-law, Clifford and Rebecca Morris, Joe Morris; sister-in-law, Oline Morris; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, at 2 p.m., at the Colbert United Methodist Church with the Revs. James R. Haralson and Calvin Coile officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Morris, Randy Morris, Jim Osborne, Joe Donald Morris, Buddy Logan, David Rutledge, Kenneth Rutledge, Raymond Shedd and Dwayne Kidd. The family will receive friends Monday, March 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
