CARNESVILLE – Joseph Ronald “Ronnie” Daws, 62, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009.
Born in Fulton County, he lived most of his life in metro Atlanta. He was self-employed as an auto electrical specialist and was a member of Gwinnett Vineyard Church. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Angela Daws, Carnesville; children and spouses, Steven Daws, Fort Bragg, N.C., David and Christy Daws, Walnut Grove, Amberly and Nathan Mack, Carnesville, Andrea Steen, Columbus, Adrianne and Jody Mackey, Snellville, Ashli Bell, Hoschton, Adam and Elizabeth Roberts, Duluth; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert Neal Daws Jr., Ralph and Sue Williams, Bethlehem; twin sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Tom Preston, Auburn; sister-in-law, Margaret Williams, Cumming; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 1, at 2 p.m., at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel in Buford with Pastor Scott Westbrook officiating. Burial will be in Social Circle City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 28, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.
Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, Buford, is in charge of arrangements.
