COMMERCE – Kason Talik DuBose, 17, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009.
Born on April 26, 1991, he was the son of Bernard and Barbara Dubose. He was a member of the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church, played drums for all the choirs, and was secretary of Sunday School. He was a senior and honor student of East Jackson Comprehensive High School and was a member of the National Guard.
Survivors in addition to his parents, include a brother, Kwame DuBose; sisters, Malika DuBose, Crystal Henderson, Michelle DuBose, Adrienne DuBose, Nickee DuBose, Chrishon Smith; and a host of loved ones and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 1, at 1 p.m., at East Jackson Comprehensive High School. Burial will be in the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 28, from 6 to 7 p.m., at the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church, 710 Apple Valley Rd., Commerce, GA.
Moss-Stovall-Neal Funeral Home, Toccoa, is in charge of arrangements.

Casey attends school with Michelle ,Kason's little sister at KBMS and we were saddened to hear the news of Kason's death.I want Kason's family to know that we are here for them in thier time of need and they are constantly in our hearts,thaughts and prayers everyday. I know Kason will be truely missed by everyone whom knew him.
but did met his Mother and one of his sisters Michelle.I have always heard alot of good comments mentioned when someone would speak of Kason.I just want the Dubose family to know that we were very sadened to learn of the loss of their son.And our deepest sympathy goes out to the Dubose family.My daughter Casey attends school at KBMS with Michelle and they are very close.
