‘Mildred’ Hamilton

Carrie “Mildred” Hamilton, 74, of Winder, died Thursday, May 8, 2008.

Born in Henderson, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Frank G. and Margaret Bright Hardy and was a member of Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her husband, Fred G. Hamilton, Jr.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Lynne Hamilton, Winder; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Clint Albea, Washington; grandchildren, Corrie Hamilton, Jacob Hamilton and Jenna Grimaud; great-grandchild, Kaylee Grimaud; brothers, Charlie Hardy, Commerce, and Joe Hardy, Jefferson.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 10, at First Baptist Church with Dr. John Talley officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Smith Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.
