WINDER – Arthur Eugene Moon, 68, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009.
A native of Oconee County, he was the son of the late Grover and Sue Melton Moon. He was a retired investigator with Georgia Power and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winder. Mr. Moon was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Eugene Moon; and brothers, Preston and Donald Moon.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Dorothy Ann Moon; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Mark Stephens, Flowery Branch; son, Bruce Moon, Blairsville; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Roy Mealor, Bishop; grandchildren, Heather Nicole (Jared) Zuercher, Michael Tyler Moon, Brian Christopher (Heather) Stephens and Paul Thomas Stephens; and a great-grandson, Clayton Christopher Stephens.
Memorial services were held Saturday, February 21, in the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Varnado officiating.
Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
