COMMERCE — Katherine Maxine McClure, 41, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, at Athens Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 13, 1967 to Grady Jones and Melba McClure Jones in Villa Rica. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia and served as a counselor in the Jackson County School system.

She is survived by mother, Melba McClure Jones of Commerce; and sisters, Jennifer Loden, Commerce, and Laura Lee, Gainesville.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 20, at the Tickanetley Primitive Baptist Church with Lamar Lee officiating.

Logan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
