Terry Osborn

CORNELIA – Terry Willard Osborn, 52, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at his residence.

Born in Jackson County, he was the son of Willard and Willene Durham Osborn of Homer, was a truck driver for C & H Mechanical, and was a member of Friendly Mission Baptist Church. He was a veteran, having served in the United States National Guard. He was an avid race fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing, loved ones added.

Survivors in addition to his parents, include his wife, Myra Osborn, Cornelia; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Kenny Pilcher, Cornelia; stepdaughter, Misty Norton, Mt. Airy; brother, Cecil Osborn, Homer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Susie Osborn and Anthony and Annissa Osborn, all of Homer; grandchildren, Dillan Osborn, Abby Pilcher, Nathan Pilcher and Kristen Pilcher; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 21, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with the Revs. Denver Kimbrell and Dwane Eller officiating. Burial was in Friendly Mission Baptist Church cemetery.

McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia, was in charge of arrangements.
