WINDER - Riley M. Jackson, 85, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at his residence.
A Kentucky native, he was the son of the late Grant and Rachel Lynch Jackson. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Jackson. Mr. Jackson had resided in Winder since 2000 and had attended Sharon Baptist Church. He was a retired furniture upholsterer.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Faye Taylor Jackson; grandchildren, Michael McGee, Cherie Jackson, Daniel Jackson, Alex Jackson and Amber Jackson; sisters, Marinda Sulfredge, Kentucky, and Gertrude Roberson, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 21, from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home, with the Revs. Marion Prather and Byron Lee officiating. Burial was in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Carter Funeral Home, Winder, was in charge of arrangements.

I am a neighbor of Mr. Jackson and I just want his wife and family to know that my prayers has been with them and will continue to be. God will take care of all of you and help with the grief just call on Him for He never fails us
